We were so excited when Julie and Rob contacted us to plan their fall wedding at The Molly Pitcher Inn in Asbury Park! They knew exactly how they wanted their day to be after going to so many other weddings in the past. Rob and Julie were such a sweet couple to work with because they had a vision for their wedding and knew that Petite Planning could make their day special!

Rob and Julie got engaged in the cutest way and it involved their sweet puppy! Julie joined one of her best friends to get their hair done because Julie thought they were doing a bridesmaids’ photo shoot for her friend’s wedding. However, when they arrived at the park, they walked up to the gazebo and were met with a surprise! Rob was down on one knee with their dog, Jack who was wearing a “Will you marry me?” sign! She of course said yes!

Rob’s idea of a perfect date night is getting dressed up and going to a nice restaurant for dinner and drinks. Julie loves going on adventures together or going to a show/concert. She also enjoys taking a cooking class and they’re both a fan of double dates with friends!

When Julie and Rob booked us to coordinate their wedding, they had a few specifics in mind. The most important element for them was that their wedding day be a “never forget” experience for their guests. After never truly enjoying other weddings that they had attended, they knew they wanted theirs to be an enjoyable, fun event!

They hired our company because they definitely did not want to be rushing all day. This couple also didn’t want any family members trying to take control of anything, which is why we love what we do! We handled everything aspect of the day so they could just enjoy getting married and celebrate! The getting ready location, the ceremony, and the reception were all at The Molly Pitcher Inn wedding venue. This makes anyone’s wedding day much more seamless as there’s no travel for the couple or their wedding party. Everyone can stay in one location and keep celebrating! During cocktail hour, they had games on the promenade for guests to play, including giant Jenga and Connect 4.

Julie and Rob even had their dog sitter bring their puppy for some photos! We love couples like this because they understand the value of hiring a wedding planner to make sure their day goes smoothly an without any extra added stress. When couples hire us, they can rest assured that their special day will be fully taken care of!
