As Petite Planning Company expands into the Tampa Bay, Sarasota, and Bradenton wedding markets, we knew our first Florida creative project needed to feel intentional, collaborative, and deeply rooted in the local vendor community.

In February 2026, we brought that vision to life with a romantic editorial styled shoot at The Elia in Terra Ceia, Florida — a venue that perfectly captures the elevated, destination-feeling weddings we’re so excited to plan in this region.

This shoot marked a major milestone for our team:
our first full-scale Florida production and a celebration of the incredible creatives shaping the Tampa Bay wedding industry.

The design concept? Garden Reverie — soft, romantic, slightly editorial, and timeless.

The Elia: A Hidden-Gem Florida Wedding Venue

Located in Terra Ceia, Florida, just north of Bradenton and within easy reach of Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota, The Elia is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after wedding venues on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

From a planning perspective, we love venues that allow for seamless transitions throughout the day — ceremony, portraits, cocktail hour, and reception all flowing naturally. The Elia makes that easy while still feeling editorial and elevated.

The Vision: “Garden Reverie”

We designed this styled shoot around a concept we called Garden Reverie — romantic, textural, and softly editorial with a timeless color palette.

Our goals were to showcase:

• Elevated but approachable design
• Intentional florals
• Editorial fashion moments
• A refined Florida wedding aesthetic
• What a real wedding day at The Elia could feel like

The design leaned into:

• Soft neutrals
• Garden-inspired florals
• Layered tablescape textures
• Modern romantic styling
• Clean, natural light

Rather than styling a full reception room, we focused on meaningful vignettes that couples actually prioritize:

• A ceremony moment
• One beautifully styled reception table
• A sweetheart table
• Portrait locations throughout the property

This allowed the creative team to capture a variety of inspiration while keeping the shoot editorial and intentional.
